The 3mm Tesshin Kote Set is made in Japan from 100% cotton, machine-stitched with a 3mm pitch, and dyed using traditional Aizome dye; the palm is crafted from genuine cow leather. We use only high-quality, authentic materials at a reasonable price, avoiding the imitation leather commonly found in other \[Men, Kote, Do, Tare] that can produce unpleasant odors. For beginners or those looking for protective gear for practice, we recommend equipment with a stitching width of 5mm or more, as it offers excellent shock absorption. A narrower stitch width results in a more refined appearance. If visual appeal is a priority, we recommend equipment with a stitch width of 4mm or less.
